The Subjugation of the American People

     It's time for us as a people to step back from our daily lives and look at the big picture of what is actually happening in our country.  We are slowly and surely beginning to live under the thumb of a giant oppressive government that seems determined to take away the rights of the majority.  The way in which this is being conducted is nothing less than brilliant.  It will be the purpose of this article to take a brief look at everything that is happening so that you the reader can be better informed.

     The biggest issue in our country today is whether our government should ban certain types of weapons.  To the supporters on the left it seems a very logical decision that if we take away a certain amount of guns then a certain amount of crimes will not happen.  The media is complicit in their support of whatever the President says so you only get heart wrenching stories about kids being killed or constant reminders of school shootings.  To the average person this constant bombardment begins to effect their feelings on the issue.  Within time it is no longer about why the constitution allowed civilians to own guns, but rather if we don't take all guns our kids will die.  Why did our Founding Father's grant such a sacred right to bare arms?  The answer is quite simple.  They wanted to make sure that the average citizen had a right to fight back against the government if it became tyrannical in nature.  

     This is where I fear our government is headed if we don't reverse course quickly.  As 'We the People' are having our guns taken away, the government is considering using spy drones on our own soil, and could use them to assassinate U.S. citizens.  If we have no way to fight back what is to stop them from eliminating even more of our rights?

     Religion has been a right that President Obama and the left have had in their cross-hairs since the beginning of his Presidency.  If you're a Christian you know the discrimination that you face in your day to day life.  If you bring a Bible to work, or worse yet talk to someone about Jesus, you be asked to take the book home and you may even be fired for sharing your faith.  But if you're muslim, hindu, or gay you can bring a rainbow flag, wear a turban, or dress in traditional clothes and no one better say a word.  Once again the media jumps head first into the degradation of the Christian faith with its mockery and biased opinions.  If you ever see a man or woman of faith being interviewed on almost any show it is like watching sharks at a feeding frenzy.  Heaven forbid the guest actually states that Christ is the only way to heaven...Then the gloves really come off.

     So far we can see how the government is slowly eroding some our very basic rights that our Founding Father's felt were very important.  Now let's look at some of the 'conspiracy theories' about future government plans for further subjugation of our people.  One of the internet favorites is the H.A.A.R.P. weather system, which is located in a secluded part of Alaska.  This system has been said to be able to heat 100 square miles of the earth's atmosphere to a staggering 15,000 degrees, thus allowing it to change weather patterns.  Some may think this is too far fetched to be believed, but there have been several international complaints made by countries claiming that the United States is doing that very thing.  That is not the worst claim about this government project either!  Many people claim it has the ability to change behavior in entire major cities and could be used for crowd control.  Whether these accusations are true or not, there is one interesting the fact remaining, the government has decided to double the size of the project.

     Our country has also been accused of creating F.E.M.A. camps and are planning on the implementation of forcing American citizens to have tiny chips inserted into their hands or foreheads so that the government can better 'protect' us against illegal criminals.  Now the F.E.M.A. camps have widely been rebuffed, but the sites are still an intriguing mystery that has not been explained.  As for the computer chips, well, they already put them in animals so I wouldn't say it's a stretch that we are next.  In fact, some parents are lobbying for it as a way to protect their children.  Scary thought!

     So as you can see in this very brief overview of the situation we find ourselves in it is obvious that there is 'something' going on in our government.  Many of these same government employees are good people, but they are just severely lacking judgement.  If we lose God, our guns, and quite possibly the control of our own thoughts and feelings, then what is left?  We will become mindless drones as the author of 1984 so eerily predicted back in 1949.  I hope you found this read interesting and if not hopefully it was humorous for you.
